Boise Artist Michael Cordell recently completed a commissioned work for Saint Alphonsus Hospital. The vitreous enamel and tooled copper wall sculpture was designed to inspire a feeling of calm. The aluminum leafed panel evokes the sky reflected onto the water's surface, while the cluster of lily pads offer a serene respite to the patients, staff and visitors who encounter it.
