Amy Westover receives grant from Idaho Commission on the Arts

Gallery artist Amy Westover received a $1,000 grant to fabricate a mural artwork with the Derix Art Glass consultants in Germany. The window artwork will be installed at the "Watershed" Education Center at the West Boise Wastewater Treatment Plant. The window expanse is 38' long and approximately 15' tall. The artwork will be created on the windows by silk-screening imagery on to window glass using vitreous enamels and then firing the glass panels in large kilns. The window panels will then be assembled in aluminum frames typical of a storefront style.
